Over 500 major Agents and A List Casting Directors from the most respected
offices in Los Angeles and New York have repeatedly requested to attend our
events and find new talent! WHY? Because at the Actor's Market we're very
selective. We screen heavily. We receive hundreds of requests from actors
who wish to participate in each ActorMarathon. We audition over 150 actors
who must submit a photo/resume prior to each interview. But, we invite only
15 -20 actors to become finalists in each ActorMarathon in NY or LA -
four times a year.
Prior to each event - months before- we prep each actor. We spend hours
working with you on your monologues, scenes and commercials. We advise
you on your presentation, image, brand and wardrobe as well as your
marketing tools - headshot, resume, demo reel and website. We have a
consistent 80-95% RATE! Actors at our events get a response - an offer of
free-lance representation, a follow up meeting, an audition, a booking on a
Prime time TV series, film or commercial as well as signed representation!
Our criteria for acceptance?
TALENT, TRAINING, CREDITS, MARKETABILITY and PERSONALITY -
that unique quality every actor needs to become a major success. But you
MUST audition with a monologue and be interviewed to be accepted.
